Behind the Porchlight: A Partnership Built on Prayer with Anthony Quails and Kevin and Mary Swanzey

Kevin and Mary Swanzey would have had no other reason to meet Anthony Quails. The couple run a Christian coffeehouse called Solid Ground in Upstate New York and the singer-songwriter is based in North Georgia. But because of their partnership in Porchlight gatherings, they now have a friendship centered on prayer. 

Solid Ground CoffeeHouse is located in Nanticoke, NY, and Kevin and Mary have hosted monthly concerts in their space over the last several years. Prior to learning about Porchlight through Chris Hoisington of Brothers McClurg, they typically organized these concerts independently, often going through booking agents to schedule artists. They hosted Anthony Quails for their first Porchlight gathering back in October of 2025, and it was immediately a perfect fit.
