2015 Artist Showcase

Dear friends,

With great joy and anticipation, we cordially invite you to the Nehemiah Foundation for Cultural Renewal’s very first Dinner and Artist Showcase!

This event will be held at His Hands Church in Woodstock at 7:00 pm on February 6th, 2015:

His Hands Church
550 Molly Lane
Woodstock, GA 30189

Throughout 2014, the Lord has consistently confirmed our vision to see artists in the church fearlessly proclaim His truth in and through the arts. We have been blessed with an incredible and unprecedented influx of artists and volunteers. We have engaged and invested in exponentially more artists, sponsored several more projects, and reached a growing audience with the beauty and potency of a gospel that is alive and working today in hearts both young and old.

With this growing productivity comes a growing need for generous patrons who recognize the need to support godly artists in their creation of gospel-driven art. By presenting a sample of our artists and their artwork, we are inviting your input and support. Our artists are boldly proclaiming Biblical truths to a broken world, and we are able to minister to these prophets of the arts only with your help.

So we want to treat you as much like our family as we treat the artists that come to work with us. At the 2015 Dinner and Artist Showcase, you’ll get a firsthand taste of just what that means. The festivities of the evening are similar to what we’d normally be up to on a Friday evening: sharing food, sharing art, and sharing stories. We will be serving a hearty, home-made meal as you experience the talents of three of our sponsored artists:

Anthony Quails
Singer-Songwriter

Joe Goode & Rusty Hein

Afterward, everyone (artists, patrons, and guests) will be able to warm up around a large stone fireplace and enjoy coffee and informal conversation. This is a chance for us to show you exactly who we are, who we minister to, and how we’re creating and transforming culture through the arts. See you February 6!

P.S. Some of our generous patrons have already funded this event’s costs, so there is no cost for you to attend! However, to help us plan, please RSVP your number of plates at your earliest convenience:

If you provide your email address, we can get to know one another!

No, it's not a trap. We promise not to bombard your email inbox. In fact, most people complain we don't send enough emails! But here's what you can expect:

  1. In the following week or so you'll get a few messages. These are individually designed to catch you up on all the great things we're doing!
  2. Once you're caught up, you can expect (on average) one email a month, keeping you updated on the progress we're making toward our mission to liberate Christian creativity.
  3. And once you have a handle on our work, we can try to get you plugged in. Maybe you're an artist who wants to get more involved. Maybe you want to keep tabs on our projects. Whatever has drawn you to our work, this is the best way to get plugged in.
